Hold On and Be Held Through Any Trial

~ My biggest change in life I shared in my last post. What was that? I became a Mother. Keep reading to find out why I now want to share this song.

Now’s the best time just to share this song. If you’ve read how I felt when my teen pregnancy began, then you’d see why this song fits in perfectly. Is shares how, when we feel like we can barely hold on to what we’re going through, God’s holding on to us.

Note -At the end of my book, I share part of a song being I felt it was written for me. Here is what I shared.

Chapter 22 – Conclusion
Fact: I love music—always have, always will, so I have to tell you about a song that fit perfectly into this episode of my life: “Just Be Held”, by Casting Crowns. The words describe so clearly how God lifted me up during the toughest times and held me tightly through it all. In the arms of God I was held, and He didn’t let me go. As months passed, He let me know my life was not falling apart but falling into place. And even if I didn’t feel like I could hold on, I could tell I was still being held.

This song could be that reminder that God your Father still cares, even if many tears are involved. We sometimes feel like giving up, wondering deep down why God puts us through what He does. At times like that, we all must try our darndest to be confident that God will not allow anything to happen without His permission. He will not let any “bad thing” happen that will not ultimately bring you more good than destruction.

God may decide to make our mountain of trials feel unmovable, but those days can go by with a bit more peace if you seek Him first. And if it’s needed, He’s right there to hold you.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
